\t<\/span>The Security Council<\/i>, <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Having considered<\/i> the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force of 17 May 2002 (S\/2002\/542), and also reaffirming its resolution 1308 (2000) of 17 July 2000,<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Calls upon<\/i> the parties concerned to implement immediately its resolution 338 (1973) of 22 October 1973;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Decides<\/i> to renew the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force for a period of seven months, that is, until 31 December 2002;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>3.\t<\/span>Requests<\/i> the Secretary-General to submit, at the end of this period, a report on the developments in the situation and the measures taken to implement resolution 338 (1973).<\/p><\/div>\n
