NOTE

It is called to the attention of the Commission that a discrepancy exists in the date of the Israeli reply to the Commission’s . The first text, received in cable form by Dr. Kahany and transmitted by him to the Commission, was dated 6 May. The final text, received from Tel Aviv and signed by Mr. Sharett, was dated 8 May. However, since Mr. Sharett has himself subsequently referred to the letter by date of 6 May, that date will for the sake of convenience henceforth be considered as the correct one. It is requested that all copies of  be amended accordingly.
