LETTER DATED 18 JANUARY 1995 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE

OF ISRAEL TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE

SECRETARY-GENERAL

I wish to refer to the letter addressed to you by the Permanent Representative of Lebanon dated 16 January 1995 ().  This letter reiterates allegations, indeed, repeats phraseology, contained in previous letters of the Permanent Representative of Lebanon.  In this regard, I would like to draw your attention to my letter addressed to you dated 1 August 1994 (), in which the position of Israel regarding the situation in southern Lebanon was outlined.

I should be grateful if you would have the present letter circulated as a document of the Security Council.
