2001/248.   Human rights situation of the Lebanese detainees in Israel

At its 40th plenary meeting, on 24 July 2001, the Economic and Social Council, taking note of  of 18 April 2001, 1/ approved the Commission’s requests to the Secretary-General:

(a) To bring Commission resolution 2001/10 to the attention of the Government of Israel and to call upon it 51猎奇 its provisions;

(b) To report to the General Assembly at its fifty-sixth session and to the Commission at its fifty-eighth session on the results of his efforts in this regard.
