“The New Development Bank of the BRICS and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank are examples of major new initiatives being driven by emerging economies,” said UNDP Administrator Helen Clark in her address to the First Regular Session of the UNDP Executive Board Monday.

Representatives of Member States, the United Nations system and academia came together during a series of events Monday at United Nations Headquarters to discuss an array of emerging South-South approaches that offer significant support toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
