The President of the General Assembly today received the newly appointed Permanent Observer of the League of Arab States.<\/p>\n

They underscored the importance of the longstanding partnership between the United Nations and the League of Arab States and welcomed the League\u2019s continued engagement with the work of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n

They exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the General Assembly and the League of Arab States, including through regular dialogue, coordination on shared priorities and bringing the League\u2019s regional perspectives to multilateral discussions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
