The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Khalilur Rahman, met with Ms. Diene Keita, Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).<\/p>\n

Discussions focused on strengthening public trust in the United Nations through tangible results at the country level and the importance of highlighting the Organization\u2019s impact on people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

Both parties emphasized the critical role of UN field operations in delivering development and humanitarian outcomes, particularly in maternal health, gender equality and demographic data. Both also agreed to remain closely engaged in advancing shared priorities and strengthening confidence in multilateral action.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
