The President of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Khalilur Rahman, met with H.E. Mr. Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.<\/p>\n

The discussion focused on recent regional developments and the evolving challenges facing the region. The two sides exchanged views on the broader implications of regional conflicts, including their impact on peace, security and stability, as well as economic resilience, humanitarian conditions and efforts to achieve sustainable development. They also reaffirmed the importance of continuing constructive dialogue, diplomacy and multilateral cooperation in addressing shared challenges in advancing sustainable development for the benefit of all peoples of the region.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
