The President of the General Assembly met with H.E. Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Secretary-General for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The President and the Secretary-General discussed regional and international developments, including the situation in Palestine and wider developments in the Middle East. They underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and the peaceful settlement of disputes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
