H.E. Khalilur Rahman, President of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with H.E. Godwin Friday, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The President welcomed the Prime Minister and reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the issues facing small island developing States and small and vulnerable economies.
The leaders discussed issues specific to the Caribbean region, including the current sargassum seaweed crisis and the challenge posed by Sahara dust storms.
