President of the General Assembly, H.E. Khalilur Rahman, met with H.E. Mr. Feridun H. Sinirlio?lu, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), on the margins of the General Debate of the eighty-first session of the General Assembly.
They exchanged views on international peace and security. They stressed the importance of diplomacy, dialogue, conflict prevention and the peaceful settlement of disputes, including through strengthened UN-OSCE cooperation.
They also discussed emerging risks posed by artificial intelligence and climate change and emphasized the need for stronger multilateral cooperation to address these interconnected challenges.
