The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Khalilur Rahman, met with H.E. Mr. Francisco Carvalho, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cabo Verde.
They discussed climate change, sea-level rise and ocean issues, including the particular vulnerabilities faced by Small Island Developing States and low-lying coastal countries.
They also exchanged views on United Nations reform as well as the importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing current global challenges.
