\u201cThe value of this programme for me is not only to better understand the main trends and challenges of multilateral diplomacy, but also to be equipped with the practical techniques and tools necessary to actively and effectively engage in various field of it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_testimonial][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Mohamed Fofana is a foreign service officer from the Republic of Guinea and one of the President of General Assembly HOPE\u2019s (Harnessing Opportunities for Promoting Empowerment of Youth) Fellows. Under this fellowship, Mohamed is accredited to the Permanent Mission of Guinea to the United Nations and seconded to the Office of the President of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n Prior to that, Mohamed served as Desk-officer at Legal and Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, African Integration and Guineans Abroad where he participates in the conception, monitoring, and implementation of the government foreign policy in legal and consular fields. While in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed oversees the drafting of bilateral and multilateral Agreements, Conventions and Treaties and takes part to their negotiation and signature. Previously, he dealt with administrative issues related to the navigation of air and maritime, and cross-border traffic.<\/p>\n Among his assignments, Mohamed has been part of several delegations, such as the Inter-ministerial Conference Promoting Regional Integration and Economic Cooperation for the Guinea-Liberia Integrated Railway Corridor Project in June 2021 and member of the Guinean Governmental Delegation during the working visit to Sierra Leone in February 2021, just to name a few.\u00a0<\/p>\n He holds a Master\u2019s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Kofi Annan University and is graduated in Political Science from Lansana Conte University of Guinea.<\/p>\n Mohamed aims to be a career diplomat with a deep understanding of the outside world in order to identify and define strategies for achieving his country\u2019s vision at the international level.
