On 25 April, the President of the 76th?Session of the General Assembly H.E. Abdulla SHAHID met today with the Permanent Representative of C?te?d¡¯Ivoire, ?Ambassador Kacou Houadja Leon ADOM.
The President thanked the Permanent Representative of C?te?d¡¯Ivoire, for the close collaboration and the support provided by his delegation to the Presidency of Hope.
President Shahid also took the opportunity to congratulate C?te?d¡¯Ivoire for hosting the upcoming 15th session of the Conference of Parties (COP-15) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), to be held from 9 ¨C 20 May 2022, in Abidjan, Cote d¡¯Ivoire.
Ambassador Kacou Houadja Leon Adom and President SHAHID discussed the preparations of the Conference and underscored the importance this event entail for C?te?d¡¯Ivoire, and Arica in particular.
The meeting took place in the President¡¯s office at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
