I also congratulate Ambassador Mansour for his able stewardship. The Group leads the way through multilateral action in advancing the implementation of the sustainable development agenda.

Excellencies,

Advancing sustainable development remains a top priority for the Seventy-Fourth Session of the General Assembly. I will work with all of you on the Seventeen Goals with particular focus on issues related to poverty eradication, quality education, climate action and inclusion.

I will promote partnerships and inclusion, ensuring necessary engagement from all stakeholders so that no one is left behind. We all benefit from the full and equal participation of women; we cannot achieve progress if we exclude half of our population. We must also empower youth to fully participate in society through quality education.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″
