Making Graduation deliveries: UN-OHRLLS Turns UNPDF Support into Action for Sustainable Graduation
Cambodia¡¯s graduation from the least developed country (LDC) category in December 2029 will mark a significant development achievement. Making that progress last requires action now - to safeguard jobs, strengthen export competitiveness and finance the country¡¯s next phase of development.
With support from the United Nations Peace and Development Fund (UNPDF), UN-OHRLLS is helping Cambodia strengthen its capacity to access and effectively use support measures and financing available beyond LDC status. The objective is clear: translate the priorities of Cambodia¡¯s Smooth Transition Strategy (STS) into practical, financed and coordinated action.

The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) supports groups of vulnerable countries in the United Nations system. The 44 Least Developed Countries, 32 Landlocked Developing Countries and 39 Small Island Developing States have their own special challenges.
DPoA MTR Journalism Fellowship
Application Deadline: 30 November 2026
UN-OHRLLS invites journalists from the 44 Least Developed Countries to apply for a fully funded Fellowship to report from the High-level Midterm Review of the Doha Programme of Action in Doha. Ten Fellows will receive travel, a daily allowance and briefings, and will publish three stories before, during and after the Review.
