The report of the Secretary-General in anticipation of the ninth review of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy was prepared by UNOCT, informed by contributions from Member States, United Nations entities as well as other international and regional organizations, and a range of other stakeholders.
In August 2025, an was issued for interested stakeholders, including civil society, media organizations, think tanks and research institutions, and the private sector, to share their views to inform the report of the Secretary-General.
